Tai Chi Flow- Offered M, W, & F from 3:30-4pm Want to shift those sore, achy, stiff, or out of sorts feelings in your body? Join a Tai Chi Flow class and notice how you feel before, during, and after. This gentle, low impact movement can shift you into what athletes call “the zone” and acts like “moving medication” per Harvard Medical research naturally reducing pain and inflammation while enhancing balance and range of motion. Great for beginners!

Afternoon Qi Time- Offered M, W, & F from 4:15-4:45pm Practice moves from medical qigong routines and the tai chi flow class. Student’s specific questions help guide the direction of each class. Appropriate for deepening your existing Qigong/Tai chi practice and best for those wanting to get started but not sure if they can.

Medical Qigong Series of Workshops- Learn a specific Qigong routine that you can take with you wherever you go. Topics rotate and include “Relieving Chronic Pain & Inflammation”, “Increasing Health & Longevity”, “Relieving Back Pain”, and “Mental Health & Wellness”. All are appropriate for beginners. Bring your sense of play and willingness to open your Heart Smile! Email Rob regarding accommodating specific needs and what class is most potentially a great fit.

Benefits may include changing what you haven't been able to change when you aren't even sure you know what you need to work on, reducing struggles with pain, inflammation, anxiety, anger, self and other conflict, early childhood trauma, self esteem, "being in your body", and making your discomfort in the moment be what slows you down to take a closer look.

Call or email if you aren't ready to commit to a minimum of three sessions as there is no helpful way to proceed meaningfully in shifting what you want to shift without doing it a little at a time. I don't want to start working with you if you haven't had a chance to ask what you need to ask to make the commitment I'm needing you to make.

Most sessions will include the following. Some will focus on one or the other:
Qigong energy healing to balance and support longer term changes in first your human energy field (HEF)* and then your physical body.
Qigong exercises to support and empower you in shifting the issue(s) you want to shift when you are physically and emotionally ready to learn. We will tailor the movements to fit what you want to change and ensure you find them enjoyable enough to practice and feel like you are treating yourself to self care!

Regarding Qigong exercises: You will be in charge of deciding what to work on and when to go deeper or when to do something else that better supports you in learning.
We won't be getting into stories and events from your past. This is not therapy and some with trauma history may require support from a therapist.

Once you are able to move with 0-2 level pain (out of 10), you may want to join a class under the Qigong Embodiment Healing or Qigong Movement options. They help you develop the skills to personally manage your own stress, anxiety, and over time lead to greater physical embodiment, confidence, and self-expression. This may not be the right time to consider this, however, I want you to know more is possible when the timing works well for you-- please feel free to reach out to me if/when you need more information or reassurance about the options that could work best for you.
